Playtest V2.1: Release and General Updates
Feb 22, 2020

Hey everyone, welcome to our Playtest V2.1 Release!

This Playtest update is going to be structured a little differently than usual so bear with us and let us know your thoughts on it.

Firstly, quite a few of you will have seen this information posted on our Discord channel already, but if you haven’t; you can join our Discord Server: HERE

We are fairly active through Discord and also have a large active community of users who could help answer any questions you may have (be they Grim Hollow specific or just general 5e questions.)

For those of you who haven’t and aren’t interested in joining Discord; we’re going to open this update with a quick message of support for a fellow content creator:

Grim Hollow was originally a pipe-dream idea that was only able to begin it’s journey due to the support we received through Kickstarter.

Runesmith (Logan) was someone who helped us out immensely, he loved what we were doing and gave us numerous shout-outs in his videos throughout the duration of our Kickstarter, which really helped us get Grim Hollow’s name out there.

Logan has now launched his own Kickstarter and it seems only fair that we return the favour (we’ve already backed the project ourselves.)

Here’s the link for y’all: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/415994272/stibbles-codex-of-companions?ref=3auglo

As I know plenty of you are already fans of his, you may have already checked out Stibbles Codex of Companions (some of you may have already backed it) but if you haven’t, go check it out!

Diving into the beef of our Update.

Our Playtest V2.1 has now been released and it includes the release of our Lich transformation and mechanics. This is something our community has been incredibly patient in waiting for and we’re happy to say that the waiting has finally come to an end :).

We will be sending it out in emails, but you can also grab a copy: HERE

For the rest of our updates this time around, we have done them in a video that we think helps make Updates more personable.

Personally, we’d rather feel like we’re having a one-on-one chat with our community when we update them on what is happening and we thought that being such a supportive and tight-knight community, most of you would appreciate that too. This is something we’re still playing with/tweaking so let us know what you think and if we should continue with video updates in the future.

We thank you all again for your ongoing support and we are within sight of the finish line, soon Grim Hollow will be unleashed upon the world…

Kind Regards,

The Ghostfire Gaming Team
